Namaste, welcome.

As your yoga teacher, I see myself as a guide.

The real work happens within you.

ASANA are the physical poses. These will improve your strength and flexibility. You will learn to stabilize those parts of your body that are already strong or flexible so that you can work on the stiffer, weaker parts and create balance and integration.

AWARENESS is as important as movement. Yoga will develop the relationship between your mind and your body. You will be able to move with more precision, and explore the more subtle practices of pranayama and meditation.

PRANAYAMA are breathing practices. The way in which we breathe can calm anxiety, stimulate digestion, and make us warmer or cooler.

MEDITATION creates a space in which to explore and change our thought patterns, to rest our mind, and ultimately to find peace.
